Mud Run Charity
On May 14th, Heaven gained another angel at the age of 71. Barbara left us to be with her loving husband, Mr. Bill Thomas. Barbara was one of 10 children with her being the second one born. Her skills as a CNA had helped so many people at her job and in her life. Barbara worked at Governor Bacon, private duty and finally retired from DHCI (Delaware Hospital for Chronically Ill). Upon retiring her and her husband spent their winters at their home in Florida. She had a caring heart and a sharp tongue when needed. Her love for crocheting and crafts were enjoyed by many.
She was proceeded in death by her husband Bill, her mother Helen, her father Clarence Sr., her brother Clarence Jr. (Butchie), her youngest sister Linda and great grand-son Tyler Stanton-Harmon.
She leaves behind her favorite companion, her furry friend, Sam who was beside her till the end. Also leaving behind to celebrate her life is: her dear friend and companion Bill Pierce (who was a blessing in disguise), and her best friend Phobie (Wayne) Wallace.
She is survived by: her daughter Jenny Ivory (Ron), son Bobby Harmon (Barbara), step-son Robert Thomas (Rita), her grand-daughter Danielle Estes (Kyle), grand-sons Ron Ivory, Chris Harmon (Kaitlin), James Harmon and one great grand-son Liam Harmon, brothers: William Jones (Irene), Joseph Jones (Cetta), Thomas Jones (Janice), Victor Jones, James Jones, Charles Jones (Peggy), and sister: Kathleen (Cooky) Jones-Grocki and many numerous nieces and nephews.
