Brian Medford Potter, Jr., age 28, of Millsboro, Delaware, passed away suddenly on Sunday, April 29, 2018.
He was born September 14, 1989, in Dover, Delaware, the son of Brian Medford Potter, Sr., and Laura Renia (Spencer) Potter of Millsboro.
Brian worked as a Welder for FHG, Inc. in Charlotte, North Carolina. He worked alongside his father and brother.
He was an avid Phillies fan and enjoyed crabbing and barbequing. He was quite the “Grill-Master.”
Brian had a great sense of humor and was the life of the party. He was a loving and caring brother and son. He will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his great grandfather, Medford Potter.
In addition to his parents, Brian is survived by his two brothers, Nickolas Potter and Travis Potter; the love of his life, Kristina Metz; his paternal grandparents, Yvonne and Adnan Hakim of Jacksonville, Florida, and Bruce William Potter of Smyrna, Delaware; his maternal grandparents, Linda Spencer of Smyrna, Delaware, and Clarence and Judy Spencer of Clayton, Delaware; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his dog, Jax.
A viewing will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 from 11 am to 1 pm in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 South Main Street in Smyrna, Delaware. Funeral services will begin at 1 pm.
A committal service will follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Smyrna, Delaware.
