The youngest son of Emil and Elizabeth Camaratta and the eight of nine children. Frank came into this life on September 12, 1944. Surrounded by his family, he was called home by the LORD on March 2, 2019. He was a loving son and brother, faithful husband, devoted father and grandfather and a caring uncle.
He had a way of instilling confidence in his children, Mark, Frank, and Anthony, by ensuring that he would always take care of them and the family. Frank had a strong moral compass and a great work ethic that would serve as an example not only to his kids, but his nieces and nephews as well.
Although he was a strong willed person and could sometimes be described as stubborn; beneath his rough, curmudgeon like exterior, Frank was kind hearted and caring. He had a special place in his heart for the ladies at his local Lowes, Sam’s Club and Dollar Store. Frank and his brother George loved to take excursions. But neither one had a sense of direction. Frank, however didn’t like the lady on a GPS system, saying he couldn’t stand her voice. So this explains why he and his brother George would always wind up in Maryland, whenever they tried to go anywhere local in Delaware.
In addition to his other qualities, Frank was also generous. He donated monthly to St. Jude’s Hospital for Children. He did this not only for the children but as a way of honoring his mother, who was also a donor.
His life will be celebrated at a later date for family and friends. Donations in Frank’s memory can be made to St Jude’s Hospital for Children.
Please keep Frank’s family, especially his wife Arlene; his children, Frank (Carmen), and Anthony; his grandchildren, Mark, Dominic, Isabel, Magdaline, Sofia, Alex Sweeney; his brothers Robert and George (Louise), and his sisters, Joan and Eileen in your prayers. Know that Frank is resting in Jesus’ peace along with his Mother and Father, his brothers Joe and Tony, his sisters Magdaline and Rosalie, and his son Mark in God’s kingdom.
