Rob Howard Holland or Robbie as he was mostly called was born on April 26, 1966. He was the oldest of two children of William Holland and Charlet Eroh Lafferty. Rob was baptized at the Methodist Church, Marysville, Pennsylvania. He was spiritual, loved Christian music and really all music, and prayed to his God in Heaven.

Rob graduated from Lower Marion High School in Ardmore, Pennsylvania in 1985. He loved and followed the Phillies and the Eagles. He would go to every Phillies game he could get to.

Rob was employed at Wendy’s in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania. He could walk to work and they often would send him to other area stores where he rode the bus, which he liked. Around 1989 he moved to Delaware and entered an independent living program and he continued to work for Wendy’s in Newark. While in independent living, he went to many sports events and went twice to Disney World with staff.

When his illness progressed, he moved to a Group home in Sycamore Farms. While there, he attended the CERTS program in Smyrna. He enjoyed all of the CERTS projects. Rob loved his family and his family’s dogs.

God called Robbie Home on Saturday, July 14, 2018.

He leaves behind his Mother, Father, his Paternal Grandmother Katherine Holland Toomey, his Stepmother Rosemary Holland and Stepfather Hugh Lafferty, his Sister Jennifer Kearney, and Brother in law Robert Kearney, Nephew Aidan Kearney, Step brother Bill Lafferty and Family, his half Sister Rebecca Holland Robinson, her Husband Ryan, niece Lila, nephews, Cole, Luke and Ethan, Step-Sister Linda Lafferty and her family, and Step-Brother Stephen Lafferty and his family.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 10:30 to 11am, where memorial services will begin at 11am at the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 South Main Street in Smyrna. Burial will be privately held.
