Robert Edwin Coburn, III “Toad,” age 35 of Smyrna, Delaware, passed away on Tuesday, July 10, 2018.
He was born on April 23, 1983 in Dover, Delaware, the son of Robert Edwin Coburn, Jr. and Helen L. Coburn of Smyrna, Delaware.
He worked for several years as a Manager for Dominos Pizza at several locations throughout Delaware.
Toad enjoyed playing baseball and landscaping with his brother, Clint Coburn. Throughout his younger years, he enjoyed spending his early mornings fishing and crabbing with his father. He was an avid writer and was known to be quite the comedian to his family.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Maggie Hart; and his paternal grandfather, Robert Edwin Coburn, Sr.
In addition to his parents, Robert is survived by his three children, Autumn L. Coburn, Robert E. Coburn, IV “TJ,” and Mason S. Coburn, all of Smyrna; two sisters, Angelique Coburn (Daniel) and Cheyenne D. Coburn; his brother, Clint Coburn “Bodie;” and many extended family members. He is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Joan Coburn.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 6 to 8pm in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 South Main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 8pm.
Burial will be private.
