Roberta L. RoselloOctober 15, 1970 ~ December 20, 2017 (age 47)
Roberta L. Rosello, of Smyrna, Delaware passed away Wednesday 20, 2017 after spending five days in the ICU at Christiana Hospital. Roberta was 47 years old.
She was extremely proud of and survived by her three children, Tyler, Brittney, and Spencer. Roberta is also survived by her boyfriend of 7 years, Larry Connell, Jr.
Roberta Louise Bowers was born in Close Bay, Oregon on October 15, 1970. She resided in several states during her childhood before moving to Delaware in 1993. Although only here a little more than half of her life, Delaware became her permanent home.
She worked at Neurology Associates for 5 years, then at Delaware Neurosurgical Group for 8 years until her passing. Her co-workers were like family. Patients would look forward to seeing her after their appointments. Roberta was the hardest worker you would ever meet; her commitment to the practice made everyone’s lives easier. Almost always the first one there and the last to leave, Roberta dedicated everything to ensure her job was done perfectly. She wouldn’t have it any other way.
Roberta was not only the most selfless person you’d ever meet, but also the strongest, If you were blessed enough to know her, you know she loved to talk; and I mean TALK. This woman had no inside voice. Those closest to Roberta will tell you that she loved to speak her mind. To know Roberta was to probably fight with her, but definitely love her. Her passion to her friends and family was priceless. Stubborn, opinionated, and headstrong, she was a force to be reckoned with.
Known as Roberta to most, Bert to some, and Mom to her three children, she will be missed beyond words.
Services will be held 11 am Friday, December 29, 2017 at Asbury U.M. Church, 20 W. Mt. Vernon St., Smyrna. There will be a reception afterwards catered by Main Street Market.
