William H. Brown, “Bill,” age 76, of Smyrna, Delaware, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.
Mr. Brown was born on November 19, 1941 in Elkton, Maryland, the son of the late Herbert Really Brown and Anna Ruth (Edwards) Brown.
Bill retired after a long career from the Chrysler Plant in Newark, Delaware.
Bill enjoyed traveling and was a member of the United Auto Workers and other organizations including the Masons. He also enjoyed antiquing and collecting unique items.
He is survived by his son, Derek Robertson and his wife Michelle, and their two children, Jared and Kaleigh, all of Montgomery, Alabama; his sister, Barbara Snyder (Charles) of Elkton, Maryland; and his nieces, Dawn Giannotta (Paul), Dana Meadows, Valerie Meadows, Lauren Della-Monica (Rico), Kristy Thomas (Travis), and Kelli Stevens; and many extended family members.
A viewing will held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 from 10 am to 11 am in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 South Main Street in Smyrna, Delaware, followed by graveside services at Glenwood Cemetery in Smyrna.
