William Henry "Bill" Cloak Jr, 71
Dover- It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of William Henry "Bill" Cloak Jr. on Friday, February 1st, 2019 at the Delaware Hospice Center, Milford due to COPD.
Bill was born in Elkton, MD to his parents William H. Cloak Sr. & Addie M. (Nee Morris) Cloak. He was preceded in death by his wife Regina M. Cloak, by his parents, his oldest daughter Eugenia M. (Nee Cloak) Ebling, two brothers Harry E. Missimer, & David J. Missimer.
Bill worked for Asplundh Tree Experts for nearly 20 years & he was a Foreman.
He is survived by his son William H. Cloak III (Wife Crystal), his daughter Terry L. Cloak (her significant other Richard), his son Edward T. Cloak (Wife Chantel), his sister's Ruby Dillmore, Rebecca Lurty, Mary Daniels, his brother's George Missimer, Richard Missimer, Joseph Missimer, 14 Grandchildren, & 16 Great Grandchildren.
Bill liked playing poker with family & friends for fun. He collected Tasmanian Devil, Frogs, & Roosters. He lived spending time with his children, Grandchildren, & Great Grandchildren & friends. Bill's COPD had got worse that he was unable to leave his home. He always enjoyed company.
The family would like to thank the nurse that came to his home that did his grocery shopping, helped him with his daily needs, took him to his appointments, & just would come over to give him company. We also would like to thank the Hospice Nurses during his short stay at Hospice.
A viewing will be on Monday, February 11th, 2019 from 6p.m. to 7p.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located 29 South Main Street in Smyrna. Memorial services will begin at 7p.m., burial will be private.
