Bradley Dillon Pratz, 15 years old of Clayton, Delaware, passed peacefully on July 23, 2018, surrounded by his loved ones.

Bradley was born on June 14, 2003. From the moment he was born he brought nothing but joy and happiness to everyone he came in contact with. His giant baby blues, and infectious laugh and smile, were enough to make anyone’s day brighter.

Bradley, the gentle giant, had a strong passion for football. He spent many hours studying plays, watching footage and conditioning himself to be the best athlete he could be, and was very much looking forward playing for the Smyrna Eagles. Football Sundays were some of the best times spent enjoying wings and pizza and some friendly family football rivalries.

Bradley also had an incredible love for music. He often collaborated with his nearest and dearest best friend Noah, making beats, preparing lyrics, and adding melodies. His taste for music was well beyond his years as he often enjoyed long back road drives with his mom and sister relaxing to all of ours favorite band, Steely Dan. Bradley was able to attend his first concert for Steely Dan just a few weeks ago with all his family by his side, making it most memorable for all of us.

In closing, Bradley was a kind, gentle, loving soul. We all take comfort in the fact that he would be extremely proud and honored in knowing he was able to save lives as an organ donor and answer other families’ prayers.

Bradley is survived by his mother, Erica L. Pratz, stepfather William (Randy) Widdoes and Sister, Sara B. Widdoes of Clayton, DE. His Grandparents, David J. Pratz of Quakertown, PA and Florence and Robert Hudak of Townsend, DE. Aunt, and Best Friend, Elizabeth R. Dillon of Wilmington, DE. He is also survived by his best friend Noah Fisher of Dover, DE and his other “Aunt” Helen and “Uncle” Michael, as well as many cousins who love him.

A viewing will be held on Sunday, July 29, 2018 from 2 to 5pm in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. main Street in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 5pm. Burial will be private.
