Rob is an extra exceptional man and a Funeral Director. He is one of a kind that you rarely find these days. I was stunned with the amount of kindness & compassion he showed me from the day my husband passed away until even after the funeral was over. No other Funeral Director ever called or e-mailed to check on a family member when my dad or mom died or inform me of what they needed or what statements had come in. He made it so easy to plan my husbands viewing and he and his staff did a marvelous job. My husband in his dress blues looking so handsome would have been very proud of the beautiful job Rob did. Rob went all out for my husband who was a combat soldier who fought for his country and for that I thank him and I will never forget his loving, compassionate, & genuine kindness that he showed me in my time of mourning my husband of 50 years. Rob, Just wanted to take a moment to sincerely "Thank You" for everything that you did to help me & my family plan my mother-in-law’s beautiful funeral service. Immediately after she passed & DE Hospice notified you of her passing, you were right there every step of the way to help guide us through the entire process. I really can't thank you enough for making such a painfully sad & heart breaking time easier to navigate through; it's difficult enough to make such important decisions for a loved one, let alone while you're deeply grieving. It is no wonder Faries Funeral Home has received such excellent recognition from both families and State and local agencies. Generations of Willey/Hess/Pooler and Anderson families have greatly benefitted from their compassion and services time and time again, Such was the case yesterday for our John Willey. Rob Timblin and staff could not have been more gracious and accommodating and always has been.

Amazing Funeral Home and The Director is so accommodating and compassionate. The entire experience made me feel welcomed, heard and understood at this time of loss for my friend(I was the support person and I am also a Retired RN) and her family❣️ I’m handicapped and they accommodated all the needs of someone with extra needs-from start to finish. They listened to all the family and patiently waited until all questions were asked. With high prices for everything Faries is rather reasonable. They are absolutely a full compassionate family owned and operated Funeral Home. The Director met with us. He was meticulous physically and professionally. Rob, A note of thanks and appreciation for your recent assistance. When doing genealogy research, we could not identify the burial site of my Great Grandmother. However, we learned that Faries Funeral Home arranged the burial. Even though the funeral was almost 90 years ago, you had the records available and personally escort me to the remote cemetery. Without your assistance, I would never have been able to document her final resting place. You went above and beyond; I am so very grateful for all your help.

Superb exceptional service and rapport. Our loved ones remains were preserved with the utmost care and detail. I would like to thank Robert and Faries Funeral Directors for their acceptional service and eye for detail during our time of mourning for our mother, Ethel. Rob helped my brother and I in making decisions that would make saying goodbye to our mother easy and without complications. Not only did Rob help with planning how the service would be, he also helped with paperwork that we would have to deal with after moms funeral. Rob also helped with selecting an affordable urn for mom and also offered to combine some of her ashes with our dads’ who passed a few years back, into a small separate urn for me. Thank you Rob, and Faries for making this a smooth and respectful service for my family.
