Jeffrey Allen Ribolla of Harrington, Delaware passed from this life into eternity on Wednesday April 10, 2019. Jeffrey was born in Dover, Delaware at the Dover Air Force Base on October 25, 1970, To Peter and Diane Ribolla.
Jeffrey was always inquisitive about many things. He attended Smyrna High School in Smyrna, Delaware and later obtained his GED. Jeffrey’s occupation was in construction. Jeffrey was always drawn to animals and there seemed to be an attachment between him and any of his four legged friends. His second love was playing video games. There seemed to be a rush of energy whenever an IPad or video game was placed in his hands.
Jeffrey developed a close relationship to his mother, Diane. He fondly referred to his mother as “Vern” and she lovingly called him “Little Vern”. His mother loves all of her boys and each one of them holds a special place in her heart. Each one of them has been there to assist her in various ways. One of the ways Jeffrey assisted her was getting her to church. He would stay for the service with her and as he did the word of God began to change his heart. He wanted to be different. So he started a journey to change his life. He was in search of finding the real Jeffrey. He wanted the life he kept hearing about in church.
Jeffrey was at a place where he realized that there was more to life than he had experienced. For whatever reason he sometimes had a difficult time controlling his temper but as he continued to let God deal with him, he realized that he had to start making better decisions. He sought help and counsel from his pastor and the two of them began to help Jeffrey realize that there was good inside of him. He just had to forgive himself and others. He became very open to receiving the counseling and slow changes began to take place. We thank God that Jeffrey Ribolla was in a happier place in his life when God called him home. He touched many lives at Liberty Church as he gave hugs and much assistance. Jeffrey will be greatly missed by those who loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his mother, Diane Ribolla, three brothers Bobby Ribolla, Kevin Ribolla and his wife Michele and Andy Ribolla; one daughter, Viannia Ribolla, four nephews and one niece, a cousin Elizabeth Galarza and a host of out of state relatives; two special friends Allen Witherspoon and Dr. Nesa Chapelle, along with his Liberty Church family.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 17, 2019 from 11 am to 12 pm at Liberty Church, located at 1150 West College Road in Dover. Funeral services will begin at 12 pm. Burial will be privately held.
