Judith A. Schaffer, age 75, of Smyrna, Delaware, passed away at her home on Friday morning, May 18, 2018.
Mrs. Schaffer was born on January 3, 1943 in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late Lee Wilson and Mina Sylvia (Riffle) Wilson.
She graduated from Hazel Park High School, class of 1961 and married the late Alfred Schaffer in Allentown, Pennsylvania on August 24, 1979.
Mrs. Schaffer served her country with honor in the United States Navy. She was a Civil War buff and was a member of The Civil War Trust.
She worked for several years, mostly as an Administrative Assistant for Lucent Technologies, Aetna, Crystal Brands, Royal Manufacturing, and Allison Manufacturing.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brother, Ronald Wilson.
Judith is survived by her children, Nancy Weeks of Smyrna, Delaware, Joseph Roberts of Alburtis, Pennsylvania, Lisa Roberts of Bangor, Pennsylvania, Theresa Brown of Hershey, Pennsylvania, and Brenda Hoffman of Chesapeake, Virginia. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great grandchild.
Services will be privately held.
