Robin Denise Troupe, age 56, of Delaware City, Delaware, passed away peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer on Tuesday, August 7, 2018.
She was born on September 18, 1961 in Wilmington, Delaware, the daughter of the late Chester Troupe and Dolores (Gannon) Troupe.
Robin attended Concord and Brandywine High Schools. She lived in Delaware City for the past 18 years where she worked for the Delaware City Library, the Delaware City Marina, and as an Independent Sales Consultant.
Throughout her life, Robin enjoyed photography, nature, gardening, and inspiring people to be their best.
She is survived by her loving partner, Michael McConnell; her sister, Debra Troupe and her husband Wayne Wyatt of Jacksonville, Florida; her brother, Mark Troupe and his wife Suzie of Wilmington, Delaware; six nieces, Amanda Buffington, Katie Gleason, Sarah Meek, Kelly Bowen, Emilie Troupe, and Cydney Troupe; her nephew, Cody Wyatt; and four great nephews and one great niece. She is also survived by her cats, Dale, Leon, and Tex.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, September 7, 2018 from 6 to 9pm at Dragon Run Park Hall, located at 611 Madison Street in Delaware City.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the ASPCA and Shriners Hospital.
